Mom job

Happy Mothers' Day!
Sorry it's been such a slow week on my blog. I've been consumed with the yuckiests of mom jobs -- training a toddler to do you-know-what. It's been a week I hope to never have to repeat, but the jury's still out on that one. So, here's to all the moms out there in blogland who find it amazing what we will do for our children. Bouquets of flowers to all of you.

Happy Mother's Day to you, Donna. Potty training - especially the first week - seems to last for ever and is not something I ever hope to repeat. We're on the other side of that now with both boys thank god. The good news for you . . . the first week really is the worst. Hang tough. And, btw, I love the picture. We moms should all give ourselves a pat on the back. It is one tough job and nothing in life I've done before it could ever prepare me for or compare with it.

Thanks for the encouragement, green bean!

The picture was from my Mothers' Day card this morning. I thought it was so cute I had to share it.
